Sajjala booked for remarks on counting agents, TDP cries foul

Vijayawada: After courting a controversy due to his alleged remarks to party cadres to not deploy honest members as election counting agents, YSRCP general secretary and Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has been made an accused in a police case registered on Friday by the Tadepalli police.
The FIR was registered after a complaint received from the TDP stating that the YSRCP was trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the State on the election counting day viz. June 4. The exit polls will suggest the likely outcome for the elections from 6.30 pm onwards on Saturday.
Ironically, the YSRCP and the TDP leaders have announced their decision to conduct the swearing in ceremony of the new government of their respective parties on June 9.
